Does an amazon US region restricted gift card mean that it can’t be used for international orders on Amazon dot com?

Yes, Amazon will reject and say it’s for different region

It is restricted to Amazon’s region, not yours.

It means you can only activate that gift card on Amazon.com (US) because the gift card is in $USD, but you can’t use it on other Amazon websites such as Amazon.de (Germany), Amazon.it (Italy), and all the rest.

You can still use it and buy from Amazon.com (US) and ship your order internationally.
