We’ve identified a phishing scam affecting some users on the platform, and we want to make sure everyone stays safe.
A malicious seller has been sending buyers a fake support website:
https://support-gameflip.com/
They falsely claim that the buyer’s payment was rejected and instruct them to contact “support” through this link. This website is not affiliated with Gameflip.
Once there, the scammer may try to:
- Ask for your credit card information
- Request your email or account details
- Convince you to purchase gift cards and send the codes
Please remember:
- Gameflip will never ask for your credit card details via chat or external websites
- Gameflip will never ask you to send gift card codes as a form of payment
What you should do:
- Do not copy/paste any suspicious links sent by other users
- Do not share personal or payment information
- Immediately report any suspicious messages or users
