I sent a support ticket in about this and also said to possibly drop a forum post here for general interest.
But I figure I drop this suggestion here to allow board games to be some on this site as well. Over the years of weekly game night i’ve obtain a large collection of board games that I no longer play or didn’t care for or don’t have the interest in playing anymore!
With gameflip’s community I can see a decent market for board gamers here. I’ve only been a member for maybe a few weeks now but it’s something i’m generally interested in and maybe other might be too!

You know, I hand’t thought of that, but it would be pretty awesome to see board games being resold on here. I also have a few board games that I would be fine selling off and this kind of community is growing to sell other things like Pop figures and Trading cards, only seems logical to add this to the lot. Funny though how, with this added on, this shop would be more of just a Game Store then a Video Game store. Which I’d be all for, i’m surprised GameStop doesn’t sell board games ya know?
Anyway, I’d be all for this idea, more so if Gameflip can get deals to work with game board makers to sell here!

Hi both of you guys. I dont think we would be seeing this anytime soon but that is a good idea. The onl main issue is the shipping for the board games is what will increase the price they have to be sold as. Obviously you cant use the $1 or $3 shipping method as most board games are over 1lbs. Gameflip should really be focusing on adding another label size for items 2lbs or less or even more. This is something that takes more time but i think that should be a priority that way when they do introduce board games they can sell easier.
For now you can always sell your board games on other apps until Gameflip sets them up.
Gamestop actually does sell board games not alot but a bit. I actually bought a brand new sealed Halo Wars monopoly.
As for a partnership with gameboard makers to sell their products here is a bit more of a challenge, Gameflip would have to set up a meeting with them and get them interested to come aboard with them and sell on here, as well as the time it will take them to list their products.

You can absolutely sell board games on Gameflip! I know that the board game industry has definitely been taking off in the past few years and overlaps into the video game community. However, we probably won’t create a dedicated section for this until we actually see the demand for it (similar to how we opened us a Trading Card section).
As of right now, feel free to list it under our Collectibles section as I feel this would be the best section for these. And if we see more and more buying/selling, we could possibly open up a new category in the Collectibles section.

I know, I’ve been pushing for this for quite some time 
We have a lot on our plates with introducing and creating the Skins flow, but hopefully after we have finished with everything that we still need to do with this, we can go back to thew shipping.

I have too! and hopefully soon though because people are selling stuff with alot more weight ( like consoles) and better shipping rates would be a life saver for them.
