Buyer not responding

A user purchased my item from Rocket League and told me to add their nickname. Well, I searched their nickname and came up empty. I tried using that as their ID URL as well to no avail. So, I notified the buyer. The next day, I notified the buyer again, telling the buyer to add me since I can’t find them (why didn’t they link their Steam anyway?)

Now I get a cancellation and a poor rating with a ‘warning’ because of the buyer not responding to my messages and trying to coordinate the sale?

What madness is that?
