Messages from Seller to buyer browser bug

Hello,

There’s a crazy bug on the sold tab affecting all browsers (Chrome Safari etc), for example you have 2 items sold from 2 different buyers. you message buyer 1, then you go to message buyer 2 but the message you sent to buyer 1 is in the buyer 2 message and then when you get to buyer 3 all hell breaks loose and you have buyer 1 messages and buyer 2 messages all messed up in buyer 3 messages really really confusing, then go back to check the buyer 1 messages and all messages not relating to buyer 1 is in there, all the messages you sent keep duplicating. this only affects the browser and is ok on the app.

Can you tell me when this usually happens? Is there a specific listing/category?

I’m trying to reproduce this bug here, but I haven’t been able to do it yet.

I have the same bug. Аfter you read the messages in one order, the same will be displayed in others. This only concerns “quick” access to messages, if you open orders, everything will be fine.
Adopt me items.

Yes, the same thing happens to me. And I always get an authorization window when I use the site and I just have to block it. Clearing the cache does not help and this has been going on for several years.

@MajorTom, We now get a blank page when pressing the quick view icon. it hasn’t been resolved?

Could you help us with some more information?

  • On which page or section does this occur?
  • Are you accessing via a browser or app? (and which browser/operating system, if applicable)
  • Does the problem occur with all items or just some?
  • Can you see anything in the console (F12) or any network errors?

With this information, we can reproduce the scenario and forward it more accurately to the technical team.

To reproduce the bug.
Have sold items in the sold tab.
Click Listings, click on the sold tab, click the quick view icon on the right hand side. BUG new empty blank page loads, clicking refresh does nothing.

The bug is on the ‘Quick View Icon’ on the listings/sold tab

This is happening on the sold tab for every row/item

Accessing via a browser (Safari / Chrome) on Mac but have also tried browser on iPhone and the bug is still there

** Does the problem occur with all items or just some?*
happens on every item/row for every sold item in he sold tab

** Can you see anything in the console (F12) or any network errors?*
No.
