Also here:

It’s like the Broken Window Theory: when one lottery/random game selling practice is left unchecked soon others come and join the wagon. There will probably be even more people starting that “new style” of random game selling before any mod sees this.

Hi there. Can we sell random items as “bonus” to a sole identified item like this: https://gameflip.com/item/mighty-gemstones-key-code-3-random-bonus-gift-free-bundle-steam-global-/76b3d43c-e0f8-498f-b112-f9059e23e420
?
@DarkKnight

Hello,

@Ticio_Mevio Selling random items as “bonus” is not forbidden when the primary item of the listing is correctly specified. The price must be set accordindly, so the buyer is not paying for the “bonus”.

Example: selling a Fortnite item + a bonus/random item.

Although the above scenario is not forbbiden, the situation becomes a little risky when it comes to steam codes, since the buyer may receive a key for a game he already owns. So we try to warn the users to avoid doing it.

Maybe it would be smart to limit this somehow. I find it okay if I buy something and one mystery key is a bonus, but here we have one non-mystery item and three random keys. That’s too much gambling involved :slight_smile:

Maybe to limit BONUS random item to one per listing.

Thank you for the fast response! I wanted to make sure about it first before listing anything like that.
