Well the Buyer will have 3 days from the item being marked as received (make sure you received the item) to submit a dispute under the Gameflip Guarantee, so it would be good to test the code as soon as possible.
Anyway, even if the seller says that, you have Gameflip Guarantee to secure your pruchase.
