Can I use my passport in order to verify myself to become a seller, rather than using my id. I don’t want to use a credit card either, asking because passport is not mentioned on the required documents to veritfy myself.
It must be a goverment issued identity document, meaning a passport will be fine. Go to Settings > Address: the person’s I.D. which you are using must have their address, name and everything it requires on there. Once verified, the account will belong to the person whose I.D. was used.

Unfortunately, we are not able to accept passports at this time.
Only state/country-issued ID such as a Driver’s License or Identification cards are accepted. We are unable to accept passports;*
Now, as an exception, if you are from Russia, Ukraine or Belarus, you may send photos from your Internal Passport for verification.**
