Adopt me tags and bot

Recently a topic was created about a bot and tags that cannot be installed either on the site or in the application, but only programmatically.

After a month, I can say that the reports do NOT work.
But my main question is: why did they remove the tags at all if they existed?
Previously, I could add tags when creating listing, then they removed them, now it’s a “premium” feature for those who have a bot. Please return tags to everyone or respond to reports.
I think tags are an important search feature, it was convenient for everyone, but not when some people can put them, and others cant. There were only 4 of them in the game: [Ridable, Flyable, Neon, Meganeon].
Is it possible to return tags to everyone?
Or is it time to buy a bot since there are no restrictions for it?

You are quite correct the reports don’t work. Not getting at Tom here because he’s been very forthright and passed it on to the team that deals with this. That being said the seller in question still continues to swamp the listings with immovable listings that drown out everyone else’s.

It’s at the point now where I only post a listing of something I’ve recently sold because there is in fact no point putting up multiple listings when this sellers autopost removes them down from main listings and makes them unseen in relevant search

I’ve accepted that I can do no more and that blatantly abusing the platform must be OK but I refuse to breach the terms of service personally as I have integrity

Just my take my friend I’m pretty much ready to shut up shop in the wake of one sellers post abuse. Tragic

@MajorTom I also dont want to cause a tragedy and attack anyone either, but please answer, what are the restrictions for using such a bot? If there are none, then I will just spend 50 dollars and not waste my time and the time of the site support team.
The tags were in adopt me, I just wanted them back if others have them now. They were on the old version of the site, but then they were removed.

Hello everyone,

As mentioned in the Seller using generic Bot with hacks to manipulate search results, we’ve already forwarded these concerns to the appropriate teams. I completely understand the frustration around visibility and fairness on listings, and while I can’t go into internal processes, I can confirm that we’re exploring ways to improve how search results are displayed and how categories/tags are handled.

Please avoid creating multiple threads on the same topic. This helps keep the forum organized and makes it easier for us to track ongoing feedback in one place. I’ll be closing this thread and redirecting the conversation to the original post.

If you have any new information or urgent concerns, feel free to message me directly.

Thanks again for your continued feedback.
Tom
