I have tried contacting the staff multiple times without any success, so I’m trying my luck here for advice. I love this website and I have made 14 successful purchases. Unfortunately I have also been scammed two times, the first one for 13$ and the second time for 60$. Both purchases have been cancelled and it says that I have been credited a refund. Well I would just like to point out that I have not been credited a refund! I’ve received neither and in the first instance I actually had another 13$ taken off my account. I’m not sure who handles these issue, but I’m starting to get worried. I will definitely refrain from making any additional purchases at the time. Please any advice is welcomed if you’ve been in a similar situation. Is there any further action I can take? I’m losing almost 100$ right now and that is serious money that I need back immediately.
When you cancel your transaction, we will submit the refund immediately. Depending on the payment method you use, it could take up to 7 days to process your refund.
︎ If you used a credit/debit card, the charge will go back to your card
︎If you used PayPal, Alipay, or WeChatPay, the fund will go back to your respective account
︎If you used Cash from your Gameflip Cash Balance (Sale Proceeds or Add Funds), it will go back to your Cash Balance immediately
︎ If you used Credits from your Gameflip Credits Balance, it will go back to your Credits Balance immediately
I used my card, and on my bank app all it shows is the deductions and the money spent on the cancelled item hasn’t been returned yet. Its been a few days already. How do I get this fixed.
Nvm it got resolved. The funds eventually came through yesterday, I just had to wait like a couple more days. I read online that it was 2-3 days so I thought it should have been earlier
Please keep in mind for future cases that the funds should be back in your bank account approximately 3 to 14 business days after a refund is initiated. This period will depend entirely on your bank and how they process reimbursements. If the used card was a prepaid one, the refund will still occur but might take longer - if you have questions about prepaid refunds, please contact your prepaid card company.
Also, some banks do not support manual authorization hold requests, but the issuing bank is always responsible for deciding if the funds will be released before the authorization expiration date. If this is your bank’s case, they will wait for the authorization hold to end before reflecting this purchase’s cancellation on your statement.
I made three different purchases from the same user, who was supposedly selling a game code at a good price. However, when it came time to deliver the code, the person sent me three different Steam accounts instead. I politely requested a refund because this wasn’t what I wanted, and selling accounts is prohibited by the site’s policies, but the seller refused. I’ve now opened a dispute to resolve the issue and provided the necessary evidence, but this process might take time. I’d really like to have this resolved as quickly as possible because people like this only tarnish the positive reputation of the community.
