I made a purchase almost a week ago. I have not gotten an email saying the game was shipped. In the original post the seller said that they ship it 1 day. I’ve messaged the seller a few times and have not gotten a response back. How much longer should I wait for the seller to respond before I cancel?
Ultimately you will be presented with the option to cancel the transaction after “Seller sends in” +1 Day. If you don’t hear back from them in a couple of days, I’d suggest to go ahead and cancel. Doing this will also leave a negative score for the Seller.
As a “bigger” seller. I had trouble with people cancel their purchases because i couldnt respond, since i was in hospital some days. Now i got 2 negative ratings,
I would say if you REALLY want that item wait ~7 days. If the seller doesnt respond at all, 3-7 days before cancelling.
Yeah going off of Romeos Keys, I would reccomend waiting at least 5 business days. ( remember some people cant ship on saturdays, ( post offices are closed on sundays) So allow 5 days. On the 3rd day of no notification I reccomend sending the seller a message and ask them whats happening and when they plan on sending your item. If no contact then wait til he 5th or 6th day and message them again saying I will be cancelling the order in a bit ( hour or 2)
Thats what I do, and i usually have Gameflip help me with it.

its been about 2 weeks now. ive messaged the seller a few times and have not received a reply. on the day of my purchase i did get a tracking number but when i click it all it says is that a shipping label was created on the day of my purchase it doesn’t say that it was actually shipped
if it has been 2 weeks you definitely need to cancel that order. After 1 week i would be pissed and i would cancel ( especially when you message the seller consistently and no answer?) I’d cancel ASAP.
if the seller sent tracking information the day of purchase that is them printing out the label and clicking " i have shipped the item"
But after 2 weeks and no update that means the seller hasn’t sent the package,
As i stated after 1 week MAX i’d give up and cancel the order.
That is my recommendation.
If you have a good track record or wrongfully receive negative feedback, just contact Gameflip and honestly explain the situation to them. They are very understanding and will remove it for you. I’ve received two negative feedback on here before. One from a customer who accidentally left it and another from one that didn’t respond at all after purchase for a coordinated transfer. I contacted Gameflip and they took care of it within a few hours. Hope this helps!
