I recently bought a gift card but the code wasn’t working. I filed a dispute, provided evidence, messaged the seller(he just said no refunds and stopped responding), etc… I escalated the dispute and am pretty confident I’ll get my money back. I was just curious to know, from your experiences on the site, how long these things typically take since there isn’t any set date and time limit for the dispute after escalating it.
It takes some time to review your evidence, depending on how much evidence is on each side. Also, I think they take their time in case the seller has some evidence of their own they want to share to counter your dispute.
The seller has 72 hours to contact you and/or provide evidence.
