I purchased some Amazon gift card codes, should I be worried about the possibility of getting a chargeback?

I purchased a few amazon gift cards, and after I had done so I was reading online that it is a common scam to purchase gift cards, sell them, then contact the credit card company and say you didn’t make the purchases. The credit card company would then chargeback Amazon, who would then chargeback whichever account redeemed that gift card.

Has this ever happened to anyone? Or am i just being paranoid.
