Listing limit update

Has there been a new listing limit update?
Where can I see the new conditions?

I couldn’t find any announcement about a new listing limit update. According to the Gameflip listing limits article, the minimum regular listing limit is still 25:

I noticed something unusual on my account recently. A day ago, my 90-day sales count dropped below 19, and shortly after that, I started getting the message:

“Onsale listing limit of 5 (current: 21)”

I’ve been selling on Gameflip since 2018 and have never seen a listing limit this low. Even if my sales count dropped below a threshold, the support article still shows 25 as the minimum regular listing limit. The only limit of 5 mentioned there appears to be for Gigs, but I’ve never created or sold any Gigs.

I’m not sure whether this is a bug or an undocumented change to the listing limit system.

It looks like the listing limit system has been updated, and sellers with 0–19 sales in the last 90 days are now limited to just 5 active listings.

As a seller, I find this very restrictive. I currently have around 30 items ready to list, and it’s difficult to choose only 5 of them. There’s no reliable way to know in advance which items will sell the fastest, so a limit this low can make it much harder to generate the sales needed to increase the limit.

I understand the goal may be to reduce fraud, but I think the current threshold is too strict. A better approach might be to reduce the 0–19 sales bracket to 0–10 sales, or increase the listing limit from 5 to at least 10 active listings. That would still help prevent abuse while giving legitimate sellers more flexibility.

Agree a listing of 5 is bananas. A listing limit of 25 already was pretty harsh, since you had to meet a time-based minimum to then break free. If the idea is to fight abuse, there has to be better ways.
