I wante dto buy a steam card, and I noticed $4 in processing fee, why is this? and since when it’s actived?, with the processing fee, most of the gift cards lost the low value the they had before. Steam pumpkin used to sell them for $38, now it’s almost $45, you add 2-3 processing fee on that one, it’s a total of $48, almost if you buy the card from somewhere else.

Depending on your payment method, processing fees will be up to a 4% charge. These are fees that are required to be paid by any payment processor (E.g. Stripe, PayPal) when a transaction is occurred.
