So I want to sell a Xbox series X on here but I’m wondering what stops the buyer form just saying I sent him a empty box and me losing my money?

Usually when you ship something, the weight is on it. So if ups or fedex weighs the item they have the weight on file. So if the buyer would claim it is or was empty you can just say :interesting how can it be that an empty package has lets say 4 pounds? Hope that makes sense. Thats how i did it in the past and nothing ever happened because i sent hem the confirmation ups/fedex game me with all the details on it.
Including the weight of the package. Hope that helps a bit!

That makes since. Is there anything stopping the buyer from claiming I put rocks in the box or something heavy?

yes i actually ship things quite often as sparkling said i record the time of me putting in the box to shipping it in the mail that way i am protected against any lies they may try to say otherwise
