How about RSS feed of my profile ACTIVE Game listing.
Thanks
Angel
what does RSS mean exactly?
Lol - RSS has become rather old school, so few know what it is now
See wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS
Nowadays, the feature should be to follow the seller and receive alerts when new listing is available, much like the current Follow Search.
Hereās a link to make this simple and explains it.
http://www.whatisrss.com
I currently use RSS feed in eBay to re-syndicate my active listings to Tumblr, Twitter Pinterest Facebook all the social networks to helps gain exposure and increase sales.
RSS is a little old school but still work and has no equal.
I would like copyable text in the comments of sales. This would be very helpful for tracking numbers and digital codes that arenāt attached to the sale for whatever reason.
@AngellPabon We definitely want to go back and add a lot more āsocialā features which we had mocked up and planned a while ago. Which would include a feed like feature from the followed stores/listings.
@air.jer If you havenāt checked out the web client Beta yet, this should at least allow you to easily copy and paste from comments so you can enter in tracking numbers, etc. You can check it out here: gameflip.com
Thanks, thatās a good workaround for now.
This web interface is 10000000000x more satisfying.
Haha glad to hear that!
Iād like to see the ability to block other users, including their ability to comment on items. I cannot tell you how many nasty grams I have seen from people who make snide remarks about the price of my battery upgraded games. Or they make super lowball, insulting offers as a way of trolling. Look, itās simpleā¦if you donāt like the price Iām asking, either negotiate with me or keep moving. I donāt need a bunch of trolls posting comments on my items, filling the comments with half truths and outright lies in an attempt to convince people not to buy from me. This whole experience has been pretty negative to be honest, and I have a feeling that the app would attract a bigger user base if it werenāt for all the negative game store owners or resellers who like to troll others as a way of making them look bad or trying to push them off the app (probably a calculated move on their part so they can control the lionās share of the listings and sell more, which if true is pretty dishonest and low). So yeah, a way to block people. That would make the app perfect.
The moderation is seriously lacking on top of this.
I need a āmark all notifications readā button now for the web interface.
another hell yes to blocking users and deleting comments. rude people and lowballers are really frustrating. i guess the pros are getting used to it (still not ok!) but i bet its really turning new sellers away from using this app
another 2 minor things:
i get notifications about a package has been delivered to buyer AFTER the sales have been finalized. it would be great if the system checks if sales has been completed before sending that redundant notification.
as far as i can tell, thereās no way to find out which code was sent and sold via digital sales right? let say i have 3 xbox codes and i listed all 3 with auto delivery. if 2 are sold i cant tell which code is not sold and still good?
You can go to change the delivery method and it will ask you to input the code again, but the code you entered previously will still be there.
ok how about the sold ones?
Doesnāt seem possible. Just checked a few of mine. The above was the best work around I could figure out lol.
As others have suggested a way to block accounts, a private message system and force new accounts to have some sort of verification method such as a credit card to weed out potential bad traders.
I do have to say the few times I have had a problem. Gameflyās CS has been helpful
On top of the ability to block users from your store and deleting comments on your own listings, it would also be nice to be able to see more then 50 of our most recent notifications. I have a lot of customers and sometimes I canāt get to all of them in time no more how attentive and efficiently I work. By the time I am done with 10 customers, the comment notification from my other potential customers have been pushed down so far that I can no longer see or refer them.
Also, if someone has purchased from us before, can we get the option to go to their profile to contact them? There is no way for a seller to provide aftercare and follow up after the purchase is completed.
One last thing, I noticed that when someone makes a purchase and their order is under review for 1-2 days, the countdown delivery timer is still ticking. When the order finally processes, we are automatically sent a reminder email and text message to deliver the item as if we were being lazy and not proactive about delivery. The countdown delivery timer should only activate after an order is fully processed and both seller and buyer have the option to message each other to coordinate a time to transfer.
That would be really awesomeā¦ Even I cant wait to roll out with such an amazing featuresā¦
The most important function is a black list on that user not can track you, follow you, comment you and he can not see that you sell, this functionality will stop trolls and people with bad sellers with bad intentions to harms your sells.
Additionally, after a buyer and seller completes the transaction, can the āmessage buyer/message sellerā option stay open? It would be great to be able to provide after care for a sale or for the buyer to be able to reach out to the seller with questions. The way it is now, all communication is cut off and sometimes customers donāt feel comfortable commenting on another one of the sellerās public listing with questions. Or even worse, the seller has no other listing and thereās no way to contact them. Sure, you can go to your notifications and tap on a message that person has sent, but for sellers like me that get a lot of messages a day, those get phased out and I have no way to contact them or respond to them sometimes. Please take this into consideration. I have been using Gameflip for over a year now and it has been great!
I am still pushing for the ability to block users (who are trolls with no intention of buying) and the ability to delete comments (users who are promoting their own store, saying there is a cheaper price somewhere else to lure Gameflip users off the site/app or people who are simply trolls). Please take this into serious consideration Gameflip. I understand Gameflip is a young company and has a small team, which is even more of a reason to give sellers the ability to be able to delete comments on their own listing and block users from their own store. This will greatly reduce the amount of tickets being sent in to deal with minor problems that can sellers can deal with on their own. This will allow Gameflip to have more time to deal with scammers and other serious issues as the site/app gain more popularity and user base.
