Dispute vs Escalate(when to use)

I recently made a purchase on Gameflip. I bought a digital code that didn’t work. So I put the transaction on hold and opened a dispute. I sent it in to Gameflip, along with photographic evidence.

My question, do I need to escalate the process or leave it be? I noticed the option to escalate and let gameflip decide. So is just opening the dispute and sending in photo proof enough or do I need to do more?

Dispute notifies the seller of the problem, escalate notifies Gameflip of the problem. Please escalate if the seller does not resolve the problem for you. Note that you have to click Escalate before the countdown or the purchase will be completed.
